Golf & Direct Flights from Portland!

Starting in March, 2016, Alaska Airlines offers same-day service from Seattle to Walla Walla, Washington, except on Saturdays. Departure from SeaTac at 9:40 Am means that passengers need to arrive to the airport by 7:40 Am and pay for overnight parking as well as book a room in Walla Walla on a Saturday.

The rest of the week the departure from Walla Walla is at 6:06 Pm leaving the time from 11 Am to 5 Pm available for touring and tasting. Typical costs for day long shuttles to wineries is about $50 per person and a rental car runs between $100 to $200 per day.

The new service is welcome news for cruise ship passengers that want to see the Walla Walla Wine Valley in a say, except on Saturdays, and the ability to fly direct from Portland does not exist. Another restriction for commercial service is the inability to book an early tee time for golfers unless they fly in from Seattle at 8:20 Pm the night before.

W3 tours provides early departures from Seattle, Portland and most points in between from 40+ local airports that are close to your home and with FREE parking. Arrive in Walla Walla in time to make an early tee time and return home in the early afternoon or on the 6 Pm flight on Alaska, except on Saturdays and only originating from SeaTac. W3 tours also provides the options for flying to multiple destinations the same day such as to Walla Walla in the morning, Prosser on the way back, or even another round in Brewster, Yakima, Tri Cities or other locations.

Golf and other trips are forming now and will be available to review at the Seattle Golf & Travel show March 4th, 5th and 6th, at the Century Link Field Event Center. Golf and wine tours originating from Portland through Seattle, the San Juan’s, Bellingham and points between offer same-day travels not available anywhere else.
